The Brief

To produce a narrative-driven 2D animation featuring the tale of how Pickering got its name for Pickering Council, The project required exploring Pickering's rich local history alongside complementary animated assets such as the famous story of The Pike and the ring.

My Role 

Lead 2D Animator and Creative Generalist. Executed full-pipeline production including asset development, visual styling, and sequence animation using Photoshop and After Effects.

The Outcome

Delivered a polished historical animation asset that successfully integrated into the app's mixed-media landscape, enhancing user engagement and bringing Pickering's story to life.
