The Brief

To produce a narrative-driven animated piece for the Tamworth Trail App on behalf of Tamworth Borough Council, integrating digital storytelling and augmented reality (AR) to guide visitors through the town centre's historical heritage. The project required handling one of the darkest periods in Tamworth's history—depicting three major disasters that befell its inhabitants—while highlighting an inspirational narrative of town regeneration.

Pipeline & Technical Stack

Executed full-pipeline production including narrative asset design, storyboarding, and sequence animation using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.

Delivered a compelling historical animation that successfully balanced sensitive historical storytelling with engaging mobile AR app formats, driving visitor engagement and deepening local heritage awareness across the town centre.​​
