The Brief

To produce a narrative-driven 2D animation illustrating the regional tale of Lady Marian & the Wolfhound for an interactive XR and augmented reality (AR) trail app, commissioned by the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. The project required blending traditional digital storytelling with AR features to drive visitor engagement and explore the rich historical heritage of Antrim Castle Gardens and Clotworthy House.

Pipeline & Technical Stack

Executed full-pipeline production including narrative conceptualization, asset illustration, sequence storyboarding, and frame-by-frame 2D animation using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.

The Outcome

Delivered a polished, site-specific digital animation optimized for multi-platform public deployment within an interactive mobile app environment. The final asset successfully enhanced visitor interactivity, seamlessly bridging local historical storytelling with modern AR mobile technology.
