The Brief

To produce an animated historical sequence for the Barra Unearthed project on the Outer Hebrides Unearthed app, bringing historic sites like the Cille Bharra chapel and the Dùn Bharpa Neolithic chambered cairn to life. The project required transforming artwork co-created by local school children and incorporating their voice recordings, with translations provided in Gaelic.

My Role

As the Lead Animator and Creative Generalist working in collaboration with Peel X, I directed and executed the animation pipeline, translating student artwork and local voice assets into an engaging digital heritage experience.

The Outcome

Delivered an immersive, community-driven historical animation integrated seamlessly into the interactive mobile trail on the Outer Hebrides Unearthed app, preserving local culture and enhancing visitor engagement.
