The Brief

To produce a 7-minute series of interactive 2D animations featuring popular characters for an augmented reality (AR) app and live theatre shows (Splash Live!) on board Marella Cruises' Discovery and Discovery 2 ships. The project required creating engaging digital features targeted at young cruise guests, working in close collaboration with Peel Interactive.

 

My Role 

Lead 2D Animator and Character Illustrator.

 

Pipeline & Technical Stack

Executed full-pipeline production including character illustration, asset development, and interactive sequence animation using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.

The Outcome

Successfully delivered a polished series of animated character sequences that seamlessly integrated with the ships' AR games and live theatrical performances, enhancing the entertainment experience for young guests on board.
