The Brief

To produce a narrative-driven 2D animation sequence depicting the history and people of Whitehaven for The Lowther Family Tree, as part of an initiative by The Beacon Museum to embrace digital storytelling and immersive XR methods. The project contributed to the museum winning Visit England's prestigious Best Told Story Award for its new digital interactives.
 

My Role

 Lead 2D Animator and Creative Generalist. Executed full-pipeline production including narrative asset design, storyboarding, and sequence animation using Photoshop and After Effects.
 

The Outcome

Delivered a celebrated historical animation asset that successfully enhanced the museum's digital offering, driving visitor engagement and contributing directly to national recognition and the ‘Best Told Story’ Award for their new digital interactives.
