The Brief

To produce a narrative-driven 2D animation piece exploring the historical significance of the Mummies of Clad Hallan as part of the UIST Unearthed augmented reality (AR) app. The project required translating complex archaeological findings into an accessible, visually engaging digital story for virtual exploration in the Outer Hebrides.

 

My Role

Lead 2D Animator and Creative Generalist.

 

Pipeline & Technical Stack

Executed full-pipeline production including asset illustration, visual development, and sequence animation using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.

The Outcome

Delivered an optimized, historically engaging animation sequence that seamlessly integrated within the AR mobile app ecosystem, enhancing the virtual archaeological exploration experience for app users.
